Being able to talk is such a gift allowing people to create fine relationship with their fellowmen . However , communication also faces a lot of problems when it comes to the sending and the receiving of messages between people involved in a conversation . br involving learning differs from each other . Since both people belong to the two different edges of the learning institution , being the educator and the learner , it understandable that they both have different outlook in learning matters

Carol only cares about the way she fares with her grades and the way she is fairly treated as a student . In this regard , because of the language used by John as a professor as well as the gestures he used to send his ideas in their conversation some of the ideas he wanted to tell Carol were mistakenly decoded by the girl as the receiver of the messages

John on the other hand have had a hard time explaining himself and making Carol see the fact that learning for him is a profession and not a mere simple factor of his being . The way he wanted to help his student as a professor was deeply misunderstood by his student creating problems between them and even involving the faculty committee or the tenure

With regards to the issues , they have had problems with regards to the idea that Carol sees the acts of John as a mere unfair treatment saying like as if John does not really understand the issues concerning her status as a student . On the other hand , as a professor , John was simply trying to do his responsibility of helping his students , only that he had a different approach in doing so

Conclusion

Taking the conversation problems into a summary , the way both people understand the essential factors of learning and communication as well affected their ability to understand each other ‘s point so much . In one way or another , having a broader understanding through the application of listening could have helped both Carol and John in fixing their issues during the conversation that occurred between them
