Often , life situations create positive challenges and serve to help motivate people to push themselves to meet the challenge . However , when a person perceives an event to be a threat to their physical occupational and psychological well-being , they are likely to have a negative reaction to it

A person ‘s response to difficult life circumstances depends on a number of factors . These factors include support from friends and family whether they view the situation as a “challenge to be overcome ” verses a “threat ” the degree to which they feel in control of the [banner_entry_middle]

situation , and how committed they are to friends , family , work and the situation

Every person must have

a sense of well-being and contentment

a zest for living – the ability to enjoy life , to laugh and have fun

resiliency – being able to deal with life ‘s stresses and bounce back from adversity

self-realization – participating in life to the fullest extent possible through meaningful activities and positive relationships

flexibility – the ability to change , grow , and experience a range of feelings , as life ‘s circumstances change

a sense of balance in one ‘s life – between solitude and sociability work and play , sleep and wakefulness , rest and exercise , etc

a sense of well-roundedness – with attention to mind , body , spirit creativity , intellectual development , health , etc

the ability to care for oneself and for others

self-confidence and good self-esteem

Positive challenges in the form of positive comments or praises received by a person can create a positive mood to a person . Emotionally positive people tends to be more active . There studies that shows that there is a relationship between emotion and health of a person

While people who are facing positive challenges has low morale and on their distressed states experience more anxiety and they are less active

It is good for our clients who feel in distressed to engaged in physically activities like exercise , and other Physical fitness training . Studies shows that these activities has a significant relationship with the mood of the person
