Abstract

The analysis of assignment-dependent resource allocation method is a quasi-iterative method of allocating limited resources under a restrictive environment to perform operations required in the processing of multiple algorithms . This methodology is designed for improved conformance with real and theoretical world information technology situations , i .e . solutions for which approximate optimal allocation is required yet while only able to provide modest computational power and time . This analytical process involves attributing complex costs and time to multiple potential assignments [banner_entry_middle]

Combined cost is an assignment dependent variable which can equal operational cost or the sum of operation cost and set-up cost depending on assignments that have already been made . Combined time is likewise assignment dependent . Recognizing and understanding a combined cost is selected as a parameter to evaluate each potential operation-resource pair . In essence , a lowest cost and a second lowest cost resource are determined for each unassigned operation . There is also a virtual maximum penalty ‘ operation that is identified by finding the maximum difference between costs , time and general resources allocation under assigned restraints . Ultimately , maximum operability is clearly recognized as the minimal cost of resource Problem of distributed resources . The mobile agents ‘ paradigm has several important advantages in respect to other information systems , namely it is scalable , flexible robust and transparent . These features are particularly important for the problem of distributed resources and services allocation (Grigoras , 2004 , pg 82 . The challenge to the approach for the distribution process consists in a system of interacting stationary and mobile agents that travel across networks in search of resources and services

Architecturally , the stationary agent stores static information about the host , as CPU , main memory size , cache , virtual memory , running services , and monitors the system for dynamic information like average load , waiting queues , etc . Depending on the size of the systems , this is where the failing begins

The mobile agents acting ‘ or performing in the name of a user or client who issued the command for creating an execution environment is requesting limited resources at the same time form multiple points of requests . Therefore the present day mobile agent technologies result in involve long delays that must be considered for balancing and handling listed tasks

The nature of distributed resources has a stronger impact on the Grid and thus distributed computing software infrastructures are important for the Grid development (Grid computing , a special form of distributed computing where computing and storage resources are distributed over several locations (sites ) that are typically connected via wide-area network links . A site normally has a local-area network which itself has distributed computing and data storage resources

Grid technology approaches the problem of distribution of resources by identifying the most dominant predecessors in parallel and distributed computing . In particular , emphasis is put on distributed software infrastructures and on the first Grid implementations
