I have an earnest desire to pursue a Doctorate program in Developmental Psychology from your learning institution . I have graduated with a degree in Psychology from Northwestern University , which I believe is ample preparation for your post graduate program . My decision to pursue this course stems from my authentic love for children , and I wish to pursue a course that will allow me to constantly interface with them . I would like to help parents and significant others to address developmental issues among the youth and to somehow make a difference in their [banner_entry_middle]

lives and their children in the process

I have had empirical research experience , particularly on online learning among students in my Field Methods class . My volunteer work has instilled in me a deep love for marginalized and minority communities . If possible , I would want my university to share the same objective . In my exposure as international student , I have realized that impoverished communities do not have as much access to quality health and psychological care , if they have access at all . I want to change this scenario by beginning with my own practice . I also would want to learn with like-minded colleagues who share the same passion for learning and for the underprivileged

For me to make an authentic dent in the profession I have chosen , I want to qualify into a program that has very heavy theoretical content and yet is also strong on the application component . I seriously want a career as a developmental psychologist and perhaps form part of a multi-skilled team… [banner_entry_footer]
