Objective

The objective of this report is to understand The Effect of Religion on Education Systems in Saudi Arabia . This report will discuss the following hypothesis and summarizes the discussion held in the class

Statement 1

Education systems happened to become a victim of the religious political and socio-economic forces

The discussion started with Education systems happened to become a victim of the religious , political and socio-economic forces . The first comment was that education is controlled by the government and has become a tool in the hand of government . One [banner_entry_middle]

major problem for the Saudi female is that they don ‘t have much of option , when it comes to selecting the subjects . For example girls are not allowed to opt for engineering , while boys are allowed to study the engineering or any other subject they wish to study . Females are accepted only in the traditional profession , such as teaching . It is not only just education females are also segregated in every possible way on the basis of religion . Despite this fact , there has been over efforts to force children to study things , which they already know

The effect of this way of teaching also limits the social activities Even the normal activates such as trip or tour to some park or historical place , there is no thing like these activities in public schools . There is nothing like arts and drama or cinema exists in the country and the reason is that government bans it , which is also haraam in Islam . Islam has allowed music , but only rhythm not instrumental or singing . Generally in schools there is only an arts lesson and no drama or music lesson

Statement 3
