Film Citizen Kane was made by Orson Welles based on story written by Herman J Mankiewiez , by RKO Radio Pictures , casted by Joseph Cotton Dorothy Comingore , Ruth Warrick , Everett Sloane , George Coulouris , Ray Collins , Agnes Moore head and Orson Welles . The film had won Academy award for best original screen play while it was nominated for awards in cinematography viz , best actor , director , art , editing , sound and music .
